My Background
In 2016 I became Reiki attuned and began attending Reiki Shares regularly as a way to practice and further my understanding of this healing modality. A little after, I offered Tarot and Astrology Services at Metamorphosis Wellness Center. This increased my confidence in one-to-one interactions with clients. Once the Center closed, I moved on to work at a crystal shop. There I helped customers find what they were looking for and made thoughtful recommendations when asked. I was even interviewed by a metaphysical group for my knowledge and passion for crystals. Fast forward and I was made to come to the realization that having proper energetic hygiene is essential, I was unconscious of the multitude of past and present energies from others, emotions and places that remained with me. Cord Work then became an important element for energetic wellbeing.
My Approach
At different points in my life when I felt the most challenged, I unknowingly was perfectly positioned to observe and to feel. I was vulnerable and sensitive to my environments, people, and situations. Sometimes I would question if this was how I was feeling emotionally but often things wouldn't add up. The sensations were not physical nor stemming from my own emotions. I gathered that these sensations were forms of energy that I was picking up or exposed to.
Fortunately, I've also come to learn with personal experience that we have the ability to change, heal, and release. Reiki for instance, supports relaxation and the physical, mental and emotional bodies. It helps to recharge and realign our systems. Cord Work on its own or as a complimentary technique is great for clearing and shifting relationship dynamics that are unbalanced and that make us feel unwell. This includes other forms of energies that come from places, events and other types of abstract energies. Tarot and Oracle readings on the other hand offer a different kind of insight and potentially a deeper understanding of one's unique path in life. This information also helps one see and process their own shadow. The good news is that we have endless tools and resources to navigate the spiritual and energetic sides to life.
